In my point of view Mr. Roberson is right in several ways; however we have to be carefully and do not make the inverse mistake. I mean, put all the children in some kind of school only for arts. I think creativity is not only in arts, but also in mathematics and science. Maybe a good way to improve the current model is to implement an educational system, where in the first years the teachers find what talents the children have and then use specific curses to potentiate them.
In respect of the article creativity and mental health, it is very interesting. But I think that should be more factors involve that just expression of dopamine receptors. Indeed seems like that the activity of the Thalamus is the key factor. Any way the article support the general notion that people very creative is also a little crazy.
